Principle Product Manager TechnicalOverview
Responsible for developing inspiring platform/product visions, derived from business needs, market opportunities, and technology trends. Decompose business requirements and customer experiences into features and functions that drive the product/technical roadmap. Work with Technical Program Managers, Developers, UX designers, and internal customers to define the details behind the business requirements. Collects and shares user stories with engineering teams and design and develop technical solution.
Analyze and Collaborate with business and technical partners to identify and scope the opportunities, outline potential value, identify risks, benefits and constraints of new Products and Services within MasterCard.
Design and develop secure, scalable software solutions based on business requirements and deliver artifacts within expected time and budget.
Instrumental in building technical roadmaps, optimize services and functions with a strong focus on performance and cost versus benefit.
Engage with business operations team to develop solutions for monitoring and supporting various products and services.
Research, create, evaluate and design technical solution alternatives for the business needs with current and upcoming technologies and frameworks.
Perform feasibility studies, logic designs, detailed systems flow charting, analysis of input-output flow for Products and Services.
Determine new ways to consume existing Mastercard products and services using cloud based solutions and technologies.
Determine scalabale and interoperability mechanisms on existing systems for handling higher transaction volumes without impact to latency and throughput.
Leverages data analysis skills to research difficult or ambiguous problems, leading cross-disciplinary teams where necessary and communicating recommendations to senior leadership.
Manage escalations, assess the alternative to resolve (path to green) and builds a plan for resolution
Continuously monitor and analyze key performance indicators to recommend improvements to the team.
Degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience delivering high quality technology products/services in a high growth environment where priorities shift rapidly
Proven ability to lead a cross functional team and operate with complete independence and autonomy
Experience and proficiency with cloud technologies (IaaS, PaaS, serverless technology, NoSQL databases), microservice design, near real-time, scalable fault tolerant platform design, API design, and distributed systems operations in a DevOps model
Experience with product development and driving all stages of the product lifecycle.
Experience with XP, TDD and BDD in the software development processes using agile methodologies (scrum, Kanban, etc.) and CI/CD.
Understanding of payments and payment processing.
