Job Purpose

 

Principal TechnicalArchitect will own architecture, design and development of a major initiative or product.This is both a technical leadership and hands-on role.In this role, an individual is expected to architect and develop innovative solutions to build mission critical applications.He/she will be responsible to design for scalability, flexibility and performance.He/she will work very closely with Product Management, other engineering teams of architects & developers and operations to drive optimal solutions. To be successful, he/she will have to be self-starter and a strong team player with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • ·Work with stakeholders to drive scope definition, specifications, and designs
  • ·Design and develop scalable, fault tolerant and high performing architectural solutions that solve complex problems and meet organizational needs
  • ·Discuss and defend architecture decisions with team of other architects
  • ·Produce documentation for architecture and technical designs
  • ·Participate in new technology adoptions and implementations
  • ·Mentor other developers and conduct design & code reviews
  • ·Help define test plans and acceptance process
  • ·Provide leadership in full SDLC process and sustaining engineering activities 
  • ·Consistently deliver successful implementations to production
  • ·Show expertise to do full stack development including participation in data modeling and development of Java services&web UI 



Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • ·Expert knowledge of Java, SQL, PL/SQL
  • ·Excellent knowledge of OLTP systems
  • ·Excellent knowledge of Web Applications Architecture
  • ·Excellent understanding of Web UI architecture and frameworks
  • ·Excellent understanding of Cloud based applications
  • ·Expertise in driving requirements and architecting solutions and developing engineering designs
  • ·Experience with software development tools and build systems
  • ·Computer Science or Engineering degree with 12+ years development experience
  • ·5+ years of experience working as an Architect
