Northrop Grumman Technology Services is seeking either a Principal Supply Chain Procurement Specialist or a Sr. Principal Supply Chain Procurement Specialist for a dynamic position located in Oklahoma City, OK.

In this position, you will be responsible for "Cradle to Grave" procurement activities (i.e. bid/proposal, award management, documentation, compliance, invoicing, and closeout.

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Maintaining and implementing FAR and DFAR regulations and flow down clauses while procuring items needed in support of Government subcontracts and procurement.
  • Resource new source selections for purchases requisitions – with a focus on small business and HUB zone. Extensive communication skills with vendors, program requestors, government representatives, and management teams.
  • Maintaining purchase order documentation on a variety of threshold purchases in accordance with Government requirements.
  • Utilizing knowledge with multiple price justification techniques including but not limited to conduct market research, historical pricing and price comparisons. Invoice review and approval with knowledge in discrepancy correction, receipt of orders, resolves any errors on both sides.
  • Utilizing multi-line phone, databases, extensive Microsoft office programs experience including PowerPoint, Visio, Access, Word, and Excel, knowledge in SAP and Maximo for purchase order creation and maintenance, and multiple internet searches and databases.
  • Analyzing suppliers' bids to determine best value while considering customer's schedule and ensuring conformance to Northrop's standards of quality assurance.
  • Negotiating with suppliers in order to obtain the best value possible. Work with supplier and Accounts Payable to correct any invoice errors in order to ensure timely payment.
  • Run weekly reports to help customer determine current spend plan.
  • Provide guidance to customer on more complex and/or urgent purchase requests.
  • Communicating effectively with internal and external teams

Qualifications

This requisition may be filled at either a Principal Supply Chain Procurement Specialist level or a Sr. Principal Supply Chain Procurement Specialist level.

Basic Qualifications Principal Supply Chain Procurement Specialist:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 6 years of related experience -OR- a Master's and a minimum of 4 years of related experience. May consider and additional 4 years of related work experience in lieu of degree
  • Knowledge in SAP and/or Maximo for purchase order creation and maintenance and/or other procurement databases.
  • Thorough knowledge of "Cradle to Grave" procurement practices (i.e. bid/proposal, award management, documentation, compliance, invoicing, and closeout).
  • Ability to maintain and implement FAR and DFAR regulations and flow down clauses while procuring items needed in support of Government subcontracts and procurement.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office programs such as PowerPoint, Visio, Access, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to conduct various types of internet/database searches.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance. US citizenship required.

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years of related experience -OR- a Master's and a minimum of 8 years of related experience. May consider and additional 4 years of related work experience in lieu of degree
  • Knowledge in SAP and/or Maximo for purchase order creation and maintenance and/or other procurement databases.
  • Thorough knowledge of "Cradle to Grave" procurement practices (i.e. bid/proposal, award management, documentation, compliance, invoicing, and closeout).
  • Ability to maintain and implement FAR and DFAR regulations and flow down clauses while procuring items needed in support of Government subcontracts and procurement.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office programs such as PowerPoint, Visio, Access, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to conduct various types of internet/database searches

Preferred Qualifications:
