A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Maintains in-depth knowledge of business domains in Supply Chain including demand, supply and inventory planning

• Proactively engages and works with key supply chain customers and IT partners associated with new and existing business initiatives to understand, shape, agree and deliver Business Intelligence and Analytics requirements/solutions

• Partners with business and technology partners to elicit, analyze, translate, and document business requirements into functional and non-functional requirements

• Develops, configures, models, tests, and documents business-intelligence databases, reporting solutions, and analytics applications, which conform to defined architecture standards, and that address Diabetes supply-chain business requirements and processes

• Scope projects, prioritize deliverables, and recommend optimal solution. Manage multiple initiatives and priorities

• Collaborate with IT partners and develops scope, schedule, cost and resource estimates

• Takes accountability of delivery of technical solutions to business

• Serves on project teams and assist with workshop planning and facilitation as well as project deliverable production

Interacts and reports progress to senior business and IT leadership; escalate as appropriate problems and issues

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors degree and minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience

Nice to Have

• Deep knowledge of SAP, relational databases (BW, Hana, Oracle, SQL Server), and reporting tools (PowerBI, Business Objects)

• Deep supply-chain domain expertise

• Able to develop and maintain metrics and analytic reporting

• Ability to lead small- to medium-sized BI analysis and development projects (analyze, plan, do)

• Experience with building productive working relationships across different functions and organizations

• Strong leadership, project management, and organizational change management skills

• Highly analytical with attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

• Ability to work with little direction and supervision, manage timelines and expectations, adjust for unplanned assignments, and adapt to changing priorities

• Green Belt training or certification is preferred
