Principal Security engineer team member to join our growing Cloud team. This person will provide comprehensive support for hosted customers with a focus towards logical and physicalsecurity,riskanalysis and providing leadership to the overall certification process. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure effective implementation of security processes and solutions covering access control, compliance management, DLP, vulnerability management, patch management
  • Identify risks and issues, maintain risk and threat catalogue, track these through the appropriate teams for resolution
  • Define and maintain SIEM filters, rules and alerts, write and operate reporting and data mining scripts for securityevents and logs
  • Investigate network and host based securityevents, deploy and maintain IPS/IDS and HIDS/FIM solutions
  • Manage events and triage from detection to resolution, coordinate with support and R&D teams in finding ownership
  • Maintain and operate automated NICE Cloud vulnerability scans, assist with internal and external penetration testing projects, perform securityaudits and compliance

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Understanding of ISO27001, PCI, ISAE 3402 / SSAE16 / SOC control requirements, experience with Cloud audit frameworks (Cloud Security Alliance, Shared Assessments, etc.)
  • Solid technical understanding of Infrastructure and data center securityarchitecture, concepts and implementation
  • Experience with Cloud and virtualized environments (vSphere, AWS, Azure, Openstack, OpenVZ, etc.)
  • Analytical thinking, meticulous attention to detail, excellent documentation skills (Creating Visio diagrams, writing procedures and checklists, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems, networking and key protocols
  • - Experience with source versioning control systems, package repositories and their infrastructure (Git, SVN, DPKG, RPM, WSUS, etc)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible and able to act under pressure meeting tight deadlines and growing environment
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high energy, demanding and team-oriented environment
