If you are no stranger to taking charge and collaborating to deliver excellent work, you can play a key role implementing the strategic scientific plan to support translational medicine research, in the Immuno-Oncology, autoimmune/inflammatory and gene therapy spaces. This role involves managing and mentoring a small team of scientists to contribute to our clients’ success and making a difference to patient outcomes!
A glimpse into the day-to-day:
Designing and developing innovative qualified and validated immunophenotyping (including up to 17 color flow cytometry assays, receptor occupancy assays, tetramer/dextramer assays as well as simpler flow based assays), antigen specific (ELISpot) or other cell based assays and multiplexed biomarker assays such as MSD.
Owning the design of experimental plans that match client specifications/requirements and communicating the plan and progress to the client, along with executing and reporting the work according to agreed timelines and under the appropriate regulations (GLP, GCLP etc.).
Training and mentoring junior scientists in laboratory techniques and in the analysis and presentation of the data.
Minimum Required: Ph.D. in life sciences or relevant field (preferably Immunology, Cellular Biology). At least 8 years of full-time post-doctoral laboratory experience.
Preferred: 10-15+ years of experience as CORE lab member with leadership role as direct manager to a flow cytometry team. Industrial experience and/or management of outside collaborations is desirable. Experience with viral infections; cell culture and cell line derivation.
