  • To analyze the latest networking trends and to investigate, explore, and develop networking technologies including, but not limited to, networkarchitecture and model, routing protocols, congestion, cloud and virtualization.

  • As a participant and contributor representing Huawei, you are expected to actively engage with standard development organizations, academic and industrial conferences.

  • To innovate, propose, design, or improve new networkarchitecture, new technologies, new protocols, and new algorithms. When necessary, PoC prototypes may be built to support and verify the new idea and technology.

  • To inspire and motivate the team to deliver competing ideas about architecture, model, algorithms, and protocols.

  • To advise the executive team on strategic planning, technical development, and business investment.

  • To build up and contribute to a technical development road map and strategy setup for research and development for future products and solutions.

  • To communicate with customers frequently to establish customer relationship and collaboration, represent Huawei in external events, promote Huawei’s product and solution, identify customer’s key requirements to drive the research and development.

  • To Speak in trade shows, customer meetings and other industrial conferences

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 12+ years of professional experience in network and communication, with focus on networkarchitecture and model, technology innovation, algorithm and protocol design. For Ph.D. holders, a minimal number of 8 years of experience is required.

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills in conferences, meetings and trade shows. Must be able to communicate at an executive level with customers, partners and industrial peers. Interpersonal awareness and communication skills are required.

  • Good understanding of TCP/IP, Statistical Multiplexing, Packet Forwarding Pipeline, Traffic Scheduling, QoS

  • Good understanding of Ethernet, PPP, Sonet
