Parsons has unrivaled experience working on contaminated sediment sites and solving environmental issues related to contaminated sediments. We are looking to expand our business by adding a Project Manager with Sediment Remediation Subject Matter Expertise, thus bolstering our existing team of world class technical experts in the Northeast.
Our Project Managers must be highly technical, and have extensive experience with managing the design on complex sediment remediation projects while working for various Potential Responsible Party (PRP) groups. We expect you to be a proven leader and have proven performance working with regulators in EPA Region 2 in presenting sound remedies that are protective of human health and the environment.
We are looking for a strong communicator, with the ability to develop, design, manage, and maintain the direction of large sediment remediation projects with multiple involved parties. In this role, you must be highly technical, and able to manage the preparation of design drawings, technical specifications and bid documents for moderate to complex sediment remediation projects including superfund projects. We expect this leader to assist in expanding our business in the sediment remediation market and be actively involved in marketing our abilities to our clients and develop proposals. Must be open to travel throughout the US.
Candidate must also implement behavior-based safety tools to strive for incident free operations (no personal injuries, property damage or environmental releases) for both the Client and Parsons.

BS degree (minimum) or MS in Geotechnical/Civil/Environmental Engineering or related technical field with at least 12-15 years of experience focusing on engineering and project management of large remediation projects including superfund sites.
Technical experience in various sediment remediation engineering areas such dredging, capping and material processing required.
The candidate shall have experience in various phases of investigation, design, and construction.
The candidate should exhibit proven project management, technical leadership and client management experience and a thorough knowledge of current technologies, industry practices, and regulations of the required expertise.
Professional Engineer license in New Jersey and New York is highly preferred.
