Primary Job Tasks:

• Demonstrated proficiency in all routine SPM tasks Strategic leader in project and resource planning with experience in risk assessment and leading efficiency and laboratory process improvement initiatives

• Mentoring/Guiding/Onboarding PM and SPM across departments

• Involvement in broader, cross-site, cross-departmental or cross-disciplinary programs

• Possesses in depth knowledge and able to assemble and review with team/site management various metrics as applicable to the team/department or all GMP labs (quality metrics, revenue/GP%, etc.)

• Public speaking and proven presentation skills with experience speaking about complex topics to senior level decision makers

• Will possess a more in depth understanding of the drug development process and be able to apply input on short notice to a customer in need of this information.

• Ability to consult client on strategic program decisions, including a more in-depth understanding of regulatory requirements as they affect work in and outside our organization.

• Ability to recognize a gap in a customer’s project development plan and identify the proper internal SME to consult with the customer to devise a plan to remedy the gap. (for example EL)

• Track and Recognize Hourly and FTE usage during mid-month and month end for complex multi-departmental programs

• Create, review, and provide business overview to new clients along with business review presentations to large/strategic clients at regular program review

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in the Physical or Life Sciences with a minimum of 12 years of formal laboratory training in a regulated environment post degree and PMP Certification or another combination of a graduate level degree and direct pharmaceutical industry experience.

• 7-8 years experience in (pharmaceutical) project management

• Displays extensive knowledge and experience in Project Management in CMC Lab environment

• Extensive presentation experience

• Or equivalent combination of education, training and professional experience that provides the individual with the required knowledge, skills and abilities
