The PIT organization has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager. The responsibilities include requirement elicitation and documentation, scope definition, project integration, planning, and execution management to deliver new program execution capacity and/or capabilities. Liaison with program office, IPTs and functions. Assess and manage resolution of issues that emerge during project execution while satisfying program constraints and meeting client-satisfaction goals and objectives with first time quality. Provide weekly visibility on projects that includes accomplishments, watch items, risks and look ahead of key events and milestones.
This position will assist the team manager with coordination across other program IPTs and help validate requirements and support infrastructure change package preparation, planning and implementation. The selected individual must be able to interact with senior level management and communicate effectively through both oral and written presentations. Operations support includes program communications and engagement, facilitating program rhythm meetings, major events, onboarding of personnel and calendar planning. Palmdale site facilities experience is a plus.
Bachelor's degree with 6 years of project management experience or a Master's degree with 4 year of project management experience
Current, Active Secret Clearance
Working knowledge of Project Management principles
Microsoft Office skills (Power Point, Word, Excel)
Ability to obtain and retain special program access
Active, Top Secret DoD clearance
Experience in SCIF/SAPF environments
Mastery of Microsoft Windows Office Suite including MS Project and MS Visio
Project Management Professional Certification
