We are looking for a creatively driven Digital Visualization Project Lead to help shape the future of air travel at Collins Aerospace. In this role, reporting to the Associate Director of Customer Experience and Design (CXD), you will lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of digital visualization projects that support concept development, sales pursuits, product strategy, and internal communication. This role sits at the intersection of design, business, and technology. Successful candidates are highly organized, collaborative, and motivated by bringing ideas to life through compelling visual storytelling that inspires customers, supports business growth, and communicates complex products in clear and engaging ways.
The Customer Experience and Design team partner closely with Business Development, Strategy, Advanced Technology groups, Engineering, and Prototype teams to create differentiated products and experiences for customers worldwide. Visualization plays a critical role in translating ideas into compelling stories that help shape customer decisions and future product opportunities. As part of the team, you are ambitious and self motivated, driven to bring ideas to life that provide value to our customers, inspire business growth, and create desirable and differentiated passenger experiences.
This is an onsite position in Winston Salem, North Carolina.
What you will do:
- Lead planning and execution of visualization projects supporting concept development, customer pursuits, internal communication, and product demonstrations, ranging from still imagery to animated experiences and immersive storytelling
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while balancing priorities, schedules, budgets, and stakeholder expectations
- Build strong working relationships across business teams to understand emerging needs, identify opportunities for visualization support, and align deliverables to strategic objectives
- Partner directly with the CXD visualization technical team leaders to coordinate resources and ensure efficient execution across projects
- Support continuous improvement of visualization processes, tools, and capabilities to increase quality, speed, and impact across the organization
- Provide hands on leadership throughout project execution, ensuring deliverables align with intent, technical criteria, and high-quality standards
- Communicate project status, risks, priorities, and scope changes clearly with stakeholders and leadership teams
- Drive visibility of project progress through effective planning tools, resource tracking, and reporting methods
- Champion collaboration across global teams, leveraging internal capabilities throughout Collins, RTX, and external partners to deliver successful outcomes
- Help translate complex technical information into compelling visual stories that support product understanding, customer engagement, and business growth
- Maintain project trackers, schedules, and project management tools to support visibility and successful execution across multiple initiatives
Qualifications you must have:
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience oran Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Visualization, Marketing, Communications, or related technical field is required

- Experience leading multiple fast paced projects within creative, design, visualization, or product development environments
- Previous experience working with technical teams while maintaining strong attention to materiality, finishes, lighting, and product realism
- Experience coordinating projects involving multiple stakeholders while maintaining schedules, priorities, and quality expectations
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling, storyboarding, and communication methods that support customer engagement and decision making
- Demonstrated ability to manage moderately complex projects with rapid timelines in highly collaborative environments

- Experience working with Business Development, Sales, Marketing, and technical teams to define visualization requirements, product configurations, material specifications, and deliverable expectations
- Ability to translate technical products and complex systems into compelling visual communication and customer focused narratives
- Experience preparing and presenting work to leadership teams, stakeholders, and customers
- Experience collaborating with design, engineering, and technology teams to define shared goals and execute against strategic objectives
- Demonstrated success working effectively across cross functional teams while balancing competing priorities
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and relationship building skills
- Strong capability in storyboarding, narrative development, and visual communication strategy
- Strong organizational skills with experience using project management and collaboration tools
- Excellent documentation and technical writing skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and relevant knowledge in visualization or CAD tools such as Rhino, NX, Adobe Creative Suite, Unreal Engine, or similar platforms

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
