The Project Engineer has responsibility for technical leadership of one or more Navigation System related projects and will be responsible for meeting technical, budget and schedule targets for all assigned projects. The Project Engineer is further responsible for organizing the project team, developing tasks, and generating the project schedule, providing written reports and monthly program status reviews, coordination of project task direction and completion with Engineering Team, Manufacturing, and Program Management, coordination of project as required, Estimates to Complete (ETC), providing proposal development support and coordination with project customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 15 years relevant experience.
• 10 years working in an Engineering Development Environment leading small (<$5M) fast-paced (1-2yr) projects.
• Familiarity with the typical development gates (SRR, PDR, CDR, etc.) is a must.
• Work experience that includes GPS hardware, ASIC development, and/or Earned Value Management is preferred.
