At Pega, Product Managers design, develop and manage activities for a specific product or group of products from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life. We’re looking to hire an experienced Privacy Product Manager to join our exceptionally talented security tribe with a particular focus on MarTech.
As the lead of data privacy, you will own and be responsible for ensuring data privacy from end-to-end in Pega’s products and services and develop a privacy framework for Pega products and services that ensures the products continued success. You will be strongly opinionated on how privacy can exist with marketing and advertising technology. You will collaborate with our CISO, Privacy Working Group, Cloud Security tribe, and other Product Managers and owners to lead privacy architectural and design reviews and understand and disseminate privacy best practices. You will be outwardly focused on the ever-changing landscape of privacy regulations, incorporate new technologies into products and services, and develop thought leading positions on how Pega and its clients can still achieve their business outcomes.
By joining an analyst-recognized leader in the space, you will be the catalyst and focal point guiding a talented engineering teams building secure, differentiated products that enable our clients in their efforts to serve their customers. In a short period, you will be guiding engineering teams building security and privacy enabling platform capabilities using leading-edge technologies and the latest security and privacy standards.
You are an accomplished Privacy Product Manager who understands the existing data protection and privacy challenges with handling personal data. You are empathetic and passionate about your customers/end-users and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and cross-functional environment. With a blend of technological know-how and strategic vision, you are regarded as a thought leader who can express ideas in a clear and convincing manner, in front of clients and decision-makers. You possess a deep understanding of how to leverage security capabilities (e.g. encryption, authentication, authorization) to maintain compliance with privacy legislations (e.g. GDPR, CCPA), but still enabling marketing technology. You can quickly grasp and translate a disruptive product vision into concrete execution using top-edge technologies like micro-services, serverless, and containerization. You are pragmatic and understand tradeoffs very well when making technology choices.
