You will be focused on solving complex integration problems for our customers in the areas of Customer Engagement. By joining an analyst-recognized leader in the space, you will be the catalyst and focal point guiding talented engineering teams building differentiated products, enabling our clients in their efforts to integrate the large ecosystem of tools used to deliver personalized experiences to their customers.
In a short period, you will define a strategy for key integration options for the most critical channels and 3rd party vendors that our clients typically work with. You will nurture relationships with 3rd party vendors to gain access to their software and knowledge systems to help guide Pega engineering teams in building the integration. You will also collaborate with other product managers and engineering heads to ensure the availability of an integration layer that enables the platform to continue to grow its integration options into the future.
You will be exposed to a range of technologies and solutions such as adaptive and predictive AI, Data streams, Event processing, Digital content orchestration and channel delivery engines, such as Messaging Providers (ESPs, SMS Aggregators, etc) and Campaign Automation tools. You will be collaborating very closely with our design team and creating compelling and slick experiences.

What You'll Do at Pega:
• You’ll use your imagination and creativity to identify solutions to pervasive customer needs and build features that are differentiated and compelling
• Create a strategy, vision and roadmap to deliver customer driven integration solutions.
• Work on a very innovative team that is driving company growth
• Review and adopt leading technologies (open source or otherwise) into the Customer Decision Hub platform as well as its foundational Pega Infinity platform
• You’ll interact and influence key decision-makers in the business to buy into your vision
• Manage the priorities of one or more on-shore or off-shore engineering teams to implement your roadmap
• You’ll collaborate with other parts of the business (design, documentation & training, services, solution consulting, other product managers) to build a robust support ecosystem around your product
You will be expected to learn Pega’s approach to Next Best Action for Outbound Marketing and become intimately familiar with the channel integrations we have today with Email Service Providers (ESPs) within the first 3 months after joining Pega. Subsequent to that, you will need to ask probing questions from colleagues and clients to understand known weaknesses and workarounds to establish a roadmap for the day to day product management of these connectors (including new ones). You will be expected to be able to present integration scenarios to clients and prospects as to how Pega’s product complements these 3rd parties’ products. By six months, you will be expected to begin the process of establishing an SDK and support process for 3rd parties to develop and certify their own integrations without needing Pega’s direct technical involvement (except for certification).
Who You Are:
As the adoption of Customer Decision Hub for outbound marketing purposes grows, the need to be opinionated about how we integrate with 3rd party channel delivery services, and to enable 3rd parties to develop their own connectors in such a way that they work properly with Pega’s technology is becoming more acute. The person in this role will be well positioned to write down these clear points of view verbally and pictorially, defend our point of view when challenged, build relationships with the 3rd party eco-system, and support both the sales and consulting (internal to Pega and external) organizations to ensure our clients are successful utilizing Pega with 3rd parties.
What You've Accomplished:
BA/BS Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
Minimum 15 years’ experience in software development or product analysis, with a minimum of 10 years in a technical leadership role (Engineering/Product Management, Technical Architect, Technical Project Lead)
Expert level knowledge of 1:1 Customer Engagement or Marketing Technologies.
Extensive experience defining, designing and delivering enterprise scale systems.
