In the Azure Developer Experience group , we are innovating on how dev teams build applications for the cloud, in the cloud. Responsibilities:

In this role, you will lead a product team that defines and executes on Azure services that enables dev and IT teams in effectively leveraging the breadth of the Azure platform. This includes Azure Lab Services and Azure Container Registry both of which are growing rapidly in adoption and usage. These services cover a broad range of customers from IT teams at educational institutions and large enterprises to dev teams building cloud-native applications with containers and k8s . Y ou will also be creating the pipeline for the next set of cloud services we should invest in by envisioning, analyzing and socializing new opportunities in this space .


This is a leadership role requiring strong analytical and communication skills , great people management abilities, and the ability to drive strategic results through well-planned execution . The role involves continuous interaction with customers, analysts, and executive leadership. A strong background in managing and directing high-performing teams and driving multiple products that delight customers , will be the keys to success in this exciting opportunity.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

6 + years in a product management role

2+ years experience working with infrastructure and platform services

4+ years managing a product management or engineering team


Preferred qualifications:

BS or higher degree in Computer Science or related discipline

Knowledge of the Azure platform, particularly core infrastructure services

Working knowledge of container-based workflows including Docker and k8s

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships and understand their business needs and priorities

Demonstrable experience designing and implementing large scale cloud solutions and DevOps workflows
