Principal Outbound Product Manager (JoinOCI-Edge)

Job Overview:

We are looking for a Principal Outbound Product Manager to join our growing team of Internet data analytics experts in Hanover, New Hampshire. We are seeking a candidate with strong product management experience in the Internet Intelligence area and broad knowledge of core Internet protocols and cloud security. Demonstrated knowledge of and expertise in NetFlow or other related Internet protocols focused on IP traffic information and network security is preferred. Experience with security information and event management (SIEM), big data analytics, and/or log analytics is also sought as part of this position. In this role, you will be responsible for conceiving and developing new products and security features in this space with a particular emphasis on Internet protocols focused on IP traffic information and monitoring network traffic and DDoS protection for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and related areas.

As a member of the Oracle-Dyn Analytics Team, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications from key accounts, as well as suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Other responsibilities include development of new concepts, definition and synthesis of business requirements from internal and external stakeholders, writing product specifications, and the incorporation of new data sources and analytics to drive customer value. The work is unconventional and complex, involving the application of advanced technical and business skills in the area of Internet Intelligence.

Responsibilities:

Define and prioritize product features and functions

Drive operational and technical solution development to support implementation of desired features and functions

Develop business requirements and user stories to provide design and development direction to UX design and Dev teams

Measure and manage customer experience, reporting back to stakeholders

Work with third parties to identify new data sources that will enrich our offerings and enable additional capabilities

Qualifications:

At least 5 years of experience in Product Management

At least 10 years of experience working with Internet-related data and protocols, with preference for experience in security information and event management (SIEM), big data analytics, and/or log analytics

At least 10 years of experience working in software engineering or a related field

Demonstrated success in defining and launching SaaS products, specifically with scale and performance design in IP traffic analytics and monitoring

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field

Ability to think both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast paced environment

Attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously

Excellent teamwork skills

Proven ability to interact with and leverage cross-functional teams

Development management experience a plus

Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a member of the product development division, you will specify, design and implement major changes to existing software architecture. Define project needs. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to ensure consistency, testability and portability across products in general.

Acknowledged expert/professional within company and/or industry nationally and internationally. Provides leadership in the development and strategic direction of new products, processes, techniques. Acts as primary consultant on large projects that effect the organization*s long term objectives / strategy. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 12 or more years of software engineering or related experience.
