CAREERS THAT CHANGE LIVESA Principal IT Project Lead for APV Clinical provides strategic guidance and IT systems to support clinical study teams and leadership implementing tools, processes, and technologies.  This individual is accountable for driving and executing all phases of the businesses resource and metrics reporting tools and ensures IT processes support department standardized reports and internal systems. Exceptional communication, collaboration, consultation, and problem-solving skills are critical.  Significant experience developing analytic tools, metrics reporting, and programming are also important for candidate success. 

A DAY IN THE LIFE• Leads projects to support the Clinical / Medical Affairs & Education functions in Aortic & Peripheral Vascular (APV) division.• Learns and manages a web-based internally developed clinical study resource forecasting tool, including creating and generating reports from the tool.• Leads the development, tracking, and reporting of various performance analytics and metrics.• Creates, improves, and maintains internal websites and contributes expertise to their design, layout, and functionality.• Develops and manages all facets of the project(s) from intake through implementation and closure.• Accountable for the successful implementation of the outcomes derived through the change through effective organization and leadership, business case and benefits management, stakeholder management, risk management and issue resolution, planning and control, change management and quality management.• Ensures the project adheres to all Corporate and IT policies and standards.• Responsible for effectively managing the constraints of project management: Scope, Cost, Schedule.• Provides technical and analytical guidance and recommendations to leadership.• Keeps current on advances and best practices in project management methodologies.• Maintains a thorough understanding of IT tools, web-based IT platforms, resource modeling tools, PDWare, etc.• Works cross-functionally to provide end user support, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements to environments.• Maintains and grants security access to the APV Clinical IT Systems.• Oversees testing of system changes and maintain system quality through validation.• Deploys and leverages applicable tools to facilitate adequate system monitoring & troubleshooting. 

MUST HAVE - Minimum Requirements• Bachelor's Degree.• 7+ years IT experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years IT experience with an advanced degree.• Experience designing IT strategies for business solutions.• Experience implementing IT platforms for large, global audiences.• Experience developing instructor led training, eLearning, supporting materials (e.g. Job Aids, Facilitator Guides, Participant Guides).• Possesses excellent presentation, written, and verbal skills.• Demonstrated Project Management skills.• Experience in business requirements definition and requirements gathering.• Demonstrated problem analysis and solution recommendation capabilities.• Strong interpersonal and influence management skills (enabling effective relationships with other project team members and business unit / geography personnel).• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work as needed.• Ability to assess workload and delegate tasks (as needed).• Ability to understand end-user needs and knowledge / skill requirements.• Strong relationship building skills.

NICE TO HAVE• Experience in medical device or pharmaceuticals company.• Experience with SharePoint development and programming.• Python Programming language.• General Microsoft applications.
