Description
Leidos Security Operations is seeking an experienced Project Officer with in-depth knowledge of construction of secure spaces, to include compliance with Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705 construction, Intelligence Community Technical Specifications and Tempest standards. While the job is based at Global Headquarters in Reston, Virginia, the incumbent will travel primarily domestically approximately 50 percent of the time.
Primary Responsibilities
Working in close partnership with the Director of Strategic Project Infrastructure in Real Estate and Workplace Solutions, the selectee will:
• Provide oversight, expertise and documentation for all phases of planning, development, and accreditation of secure spaces
• Engage and collaborate with program managers, accrediting officers, architects, engineers, prime and sub-contractors, construction personnel, and customers to ensure all requirements are understood, documented and met in accordance with pre-determined timelines
• Track overall project schedules and communicate progress, issues and/or delays to key stakeholders
• Lead the SCIF Control Board Working Group to ensure Leidos' secure spaces are fully utilized
• Provide oversight and guidance on COMSEC equipment as the Corporate COMSEC Custodian
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree and 15+ years of experience. Additional years experience may be used in lieu of a degree.
• In-depth physical experience directly supporting secure builds, to include extensive knowledge of access controls, perimeter security, intrusion detection systems, and construction security
• Strong technical security background, including a working knowledge of secure information systems, network infrastructure, and data protection measures, signals protection, and countermeasures for electronic infiltration
• Knowledge of electrical requirements such as redundant power sources, uninterrupted power supply systems, surge protection, and proper grounding of electrical systems
• Knowledge of accessibility guidelines and environmental standards to ensure compliance with various accessibility requirements
• Detailed understanding of ICD 705 and secure space design requirements to include Tempest shielding, sound isolations, and electromagnetic interference shielding
• Project management experience ranging from $40M-$100M
• Analytic ability, creativity, keen attention to detail, and problem-solving skills to address unanticipated issues while meeting stringent requirements
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with all levels from program managers to government executives
• Must be a US citizen and currently holds a Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting government contracts for multiple agencies
• Prior experience overseeing secure space construction and/or documenting construction requirements required to obtain certifications/accreditation
• Proven ability as a self-starter who can work independently or as part of a team to deliver high value customer support

Pay Range: Pay Range $122,850.00 - $222,075.00
