QualificationsRequired- Master's degree.
- Six (6) years of experience in teaching and administration or supervision, some of which shall have been at the high school level, with three (3) years of administrative experience.
- Advanced degree(s) beyond the minimum degree requirement in a relevant field may be considered for some experience.
- Postgraduate educational license with endorsement(s) designated as appropriate to the assignment.
- Administration and supervision PreK-12 endorsement.
- Knowledge of principles and practices of modern public high school education and an ability to apply them to the needs of the school.
- Knowledge of current high school curriculum and instructional practices and trends.
- Knowledge of public school organization and administration and the support activities required.
- Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate comprehensive high school instructional programs.
- Ability to plan and supervise and evaluate the work of instructional and support personnel.
- Ability to develop effective working relationships with students, staff, and the community.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
