The person in this role will be responsible for working with clients on their key account management (KAM) strategy. In this role, they will lead the development of capabilities and offerings to establish ZS as a thought leader in this space. Additionally, he/she will also develop a team of ZSers to enhance our credibility and impact on projects in this space. This role will have revenue generation responsibilities and the person will join ZS at a Principal level.


  • Lead efforts to provide solutions to our clients to optimize and execute their KAM strategy
  • Drive the enhancement of our KAM offerings in the Commercial strategy and Transformation practice
  • Engage other practice/solution areas to ensure they have support as needed
  • Provide thought leadership and innovation within projects and specifically within the Commercial Strategy and Transformation practice
  • Play a key role in development of capabilities and offerings in the practice
  • Manage projects and client relationships
  • Drive business and strategy development
  • Direct multiple projects simultaneously, honing analytic and project management skills
  • Motivate, coach and serve as a role model for project team members


  • 15+ years of experience in life sciences industry, with a significant depth of experience in key account management (KAM)
  • 3+ years sales training/ and account planning and implementation experience
  • 3+ years' experience with complex provider healthcare environments/ Integrated Delivery Networks (large hospital system and/or multi-site hospital organization)
  • Prior management consulting experience and/or experience driving large transformations within life sciences
  • Deep knowledge of the provider healthcare market
  • Deep knowledge about future care delivery models
  • Knowledge about healthcare regulatory reporting and compliance
  • Prior leadership experience, with a history of successfully building new teams
  • Demonstrated experience driving revenue within existing clients and in developing new prospects
  • Demonstrate ability to quickly assimilate new knowledge
  • Executive-level presence and communication
  • A willingness to travel internationally to meet client needs
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, maintain and grow client relationships
  • Executive level presence
