- Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practices for factory automation and digitalization; planning vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve operational performance KPIs
- Drive continuous improvement activities in quality, cycle times, process improvement, machine availability through lean techniques and value engineering to enhance the capability of existing processes and remove waste
- Implements projects connected to SMART Manufacturing/Industry 4.0 projects
- Develop, source, and implement project-specific industrial control systems; starting with Project Specifications through manufacturing and packaging plant startup
- Coordinate with other Engineering resources on mechanical implementation of control systems
- Interface with Project Management, Manufacturing, and other disciplines to ensure successful execution of projects
- PLC programming and troubleshooting
- Review standards and compliance requirements applicable to the electrical control systems, provide recommendations as required
- Ensure compliance to industry and regional health and safety standards
- Generate project cost and lead time quotes

Your Education Should Be…
- Bachelor´s or Master´s degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical or Computer or equivalent
- Engineering, Manufacturing, Business
Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…
Both office and manufacturing environments. Will stand, sit, stoop, lift up to 50 pounds, walk, and be involved with proper equipment usage.
Your Professional Experience Should Be…
- 10+ years minimum experience in an industrial manufacturing environment in a Controls Engineering role
- Strong knowledge of Factory Automation and Digitalization
