  • Architectural exploration to remove bottlenecks in the fast path of an Enterprise SSD system to enable best in class performance.

  • Develop abstracted model of ASIC, Firmware, and Memory to validate the fast path.  

  • Determines system specifications, input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/firmware/software compatibility.

  • Coordinates design of subsystems and integration of total system. Identifies, analyzes and resolves program support deficiencies.

  • Develops and recommends corrective actions.



  • Requires BS/BA degree or equivalent with 9 or more years of related experience.

  • Python, C, and C++ modeling experience as well as SSD System experience required.  

  • The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment.

  • Self-motivated and self-directed, however, must have demonstrated ability to work well with people.

  • A proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team.

  • Ability to work effectively cross-functionally. Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems.

  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.  

  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of department strategic objectives and goals.
