What You'll DoSamsung Semiconductor Inc. is looking for a talent that has strong background and experience on CMOS technology development. The candidate will be developing the CMOS devices which will be used for next generation memory technology.
The Principal Device Engineer of Samsung Semiconductor will be responsible for growing Samsung's memory business, building technology leadership and market opportunities
Location: Hybrid, working onsite at our San Jose, CA headquarters 3 days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely the remainder of your time.

- Develop CMOS technology for next generation DRAM technology
- Work with design and process integration team to define CMOS development direction
- Identify device requirement in the advanced memory product and provide improvement solutions and directions
- Collaborate with process integration, design and modeling group for device optimization
- Define electrical test structure design for transistor and related items characterization
- Analyze electrical parametric data from Si and provide statistical data analysis for improvement.
- Engage with cross-function teams with process development, circuit design, quality assurance, to meet the target product requirements
- Analyze, extract, interpretive, feedback inline inspection data, measurement data to improve performance and reliability
- Complete other responsibilities as assigned
What You Bring- BS and 20+ years of industry experience; MS with 18+ years of industry experience or PhD and 15+ years of industry experience preferred.
- 10+ years of device engineering and development. TCAD simulation, modeling experiences preferred
- Achievements and skillsets in CMOS, memory access device engineering required
- Strong knowledge of Design of Experience principles and analytical skills
- Proficient with statistical data analysis software
