Qualifications

Basic

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

• At least 11years of experience with Information Technology.

Preferred

• 10 years of Enterprise network and Data Center experience in designing, developing and implementing large scale global enterprise networks with diverse solutions from multiple vendors like in Cisco/Juniper/Riverbed/ Nexus /F5 Load Balancers BIGIP F5 (LTM and GTM) devices.

• NetworkArchitecture and Design Capabilities on LAN/ WAN / Wireless networks(controller / Access points), Load Balancer (LTM and GTM) and Nexus and hands on Experience on Products in Cisco/Juniper/Riverbed/ Nexus /F5 Load Balancers BIGIP F5 (LTM and GTM) devices.

• Data Center Virtualization-Architecture and Design Capabilities, Product Expertise in CISCO NEXUS 7000, 1000V, OTV,Consolidated I/O, Fibre Channel

• Experience in complex MPLS/BGP WAN design and implementation and Expertise in Routing and switching protocols – BGP, EIGRP, OSPF,HSRP,VRRP,LDP,RSVP, STP, RSTP, MSTP,Multicast,Policy based routing.

• Advance knowledge of networktechnologies and solutions including IPv6, MPLs, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, HSRP, multicast, policy-based routing, ether-channel, QoS, traffic-shaping, c

• Understanding of OSI Model, IP Protocol suites , QOS, IPv4 & IPv6 IP address planning and implementations

• Knowledge of cloud computing , AWS, Azure , DATA Center and Wan optimization 

 In this role the following responsibility are associated but not limited to:

• Develop wireless networkinfrastructures and make recommendations on systems enhancements for optimization.

• Develop design principles, models, plans, internal standards, budgets, and processes based on industry best practices.

• Analyze technical needs, requirements, and state of the network’s infrastructure design, integration, and operations.

• Lead teams of othernetwork designers and engineers in developing detailed designs and quality-control mechanisms during implementation.

• Establish governing principles for network design and deployment.

• Proactively review customer solutions and propose improvements and strategic direction, anticipating client goals

• Technical leadership of customer projects and oversee solution implementation

• Work closely with business management to determine business process and productivity needs and an appropriate technology strategy to support business goals.

• Triaging business problems and requests, taking decisions on whether to route these into either elaboration or delivery projects/programs

• Decomposing business problems and mapping them to strategic technologyarchitectures

• Producing strategic Technology Target State elaboration roadmaps and Identifying strategic technology opportunities and canvasing business support

• Participate in selection of networking technologies and products for implementation

• Building strong partnership relationships with customers through presales and thought leadership activities

• Communicate with vendors to gather information about products, alert them to future needs, resolve problems, or address system maintenance issues.

• Prepare detailed network specifications, including diagrams, charts, equipment configurations, or recommended technologies. 

• Provide support to operations team in complex troubleshooting requirements

• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment and appropriately prioritize tasks, and keep abreast of the latest technology.

• An individual contributor capable of self-directed work showing strong leadership and client relationship skills and who is focused on driving the complete network project.

• Ability to influence, persuade and mobilize internal/external resources to fulfill customer requirements.

• Knowledge of current technological trends and developments in the areas of advance networking

• Excellent oral and written English communication skills, Customers handling and stakeholder management skills.

• Solid knowledge of the IT Service Management framework, practices, and process experience in Information Technology

• Certifications - CCIE/CCDE/CCAr,JNCDS-DC,JNCDS-WAN, F5-CA,F5-CTS,F5-CSE,Riverbed
