Lead development of long DNA molecule analysis technology for research and subsequent clinical applications.
*** Create and manage project timelines and translate market & customer requirements into assay development goals.
*** Construct RNAseq, WGS, amplicon-seq, and additional assay libraries.
*** Oversee assay migration efforts onto system prototypes.
*** Collaborate with software and computational team to develop algorithms.
*** Design and execute assay optimization efforts applying Design of Experiment principles.
***Apply statistical rigor to experimental design and data analysis.
*** Engage and liaise with collaborators and key opinion leaders in the genomics space.
*** Train and mentor junior scientists.
*** Provide technical expertise related to DNA isolation, PCR, qPCR, electrophoresis, and similar techniques.
