Job Description:


Analog IC Design Engineer:

M.Sc./Ph.D in Electrical Engineering or equivalent education. Typically requires M.Sc. with 9+ years of experience or PhD with 6+ years of experience.

Job responsibilities include analysis and design of Analog & Mixed Signal blocks in CMOS technologies.

t requires strong grasp of low noise, low power and high linearity analog circuit design. Expertise in the design of high resolution, high bandwidth AD converters, linear DACs and line drivers is required.

Have knowledge of active/passive linear filters.

Ability to manage a complex mixed signal chip development from creation into high-volume production.

Able to make system level judgment and associated trade-offs. Knowledge of system level design tools (e.g. MatLab). Transistor level design (Cadence Analog artist).

Layout tools (Cadence Virtuoso) Verification/extraction. Silicon verification, ATE and production support.

Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Analog IC Design Engineer: Oversees definition, design, verification, and documentation for Analog IP development.

Defines module interfaces/formats for simulation. Contributes to the development of multidimensional designs involving the layout of complex integrated circuits.

Analyzes equipment to establish operation data, conducts experimental tests, and evaluates results. May also review vendor capability to support development.

- Knowledge: Having broad expertise or unique knowledge, uses skills to contribute to development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways.

- Job Complexity: Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles.

Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Creates formal networks involving coordination among groups.

- Supervision: Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments. May supervise the activities of others.
