Position Specific Description
An excellent position for someone willing to expand, share, and adapt their experience as an agile coach with some of the brightest talent around. This job is best suited for someone with a deep understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and a passion for mentoring others. Communication, problem solving, interpersonal, mediation, and relentless improvement skills and mindset are a must as this position will be asked to facilitate a variety of topics during coaching events and meetings.
This job will require leading and co-teaching training classes on SAFe, launching Agile Release Trains (ARTs), participating in workshops on topics such as value stream mapping and lean portfolio management, and working side by side peers in a practical manner to positively influence our digital transformation. Experience maturing agile teams with various software development platforms ranging from mainframe to cloud is desired. While a plus, a development background is not required as the right attitude can bring insight from any field of study. A patient, motivated, positive, and empathetic person capable of guiding people, strategic planning, and showing the value of a new concept intelligently is who we're looking for.
This position will be based in Miami with occasional (0 – 4 times a month) trips to other offices within Florida to collaborate with coaches and assist with the agile transformation enterprise wide. This job coaches and mentors Agile teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and stakeholders to leverage Agile principles, practices, and frameworks. Employees in this role ensure Lean, Agile, XP practices, and other software delivery practices are executed correctly. Leaders in this job work with the Agile community to address and overcome maturity gaps, to ensure our agile scaling efforts remain successful.
