Job Description

Cypress is looking for a Segment Marketing Lead for the Industrial market segment supporting NOR Flash Products in the Flash Business Unit of Memory Products Division (MPD).

Responsibilities include:

  • Segment AnalysisResearch of the Industrial market sub-segments (e.g., machine-to-machine communication, factory automation, medical) on use cases and applications of NOR Flash products
  • Defining value proposition of Cypress NOR Flash through competitive analysis
  • Market size analysis by creating TAM/SAM/SOM forecast for NOR Flash

  • Marketing StrategyDevelopment of marketing strategies for each sub-segment of the Industrial market
  • Contribution to product definitions as they relate to the Industrial market
  • Chief evangelist of Cypress NOR Flash in events and conferences related to the Industrial market
  • Pricing Strategy for the Industrial market

  • Sales EnablementTrain and support Sales and Regional Marketing on NOR Flash product positioning as it relates to the Industrial sub-segments
  • Track design-in and design-win milestones of the Sales Funnel as it relates to the Industrial sub-segments
  • Support pricing escalations from the Pricing Team representing the Flash BU
  • Support delivery escalations as needed for key/strategic customers by becoming an intermediary between Sales and Operations


  • 10+ years of marketing and business development experience (Memory or Embedded Market is a plus)
  • University degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering (MBA preferred)
  • Proven ability to lead and work in cross functional teams in a matrix organization
  • Expertise in marketing strategy – ability to interface with executives and present comfortable to them
  • Fluent English verbal and written communication skillsh
  • Experience in preparing and delivering customer presentations and forming strategic relationships with key customers and distributors
