Position Overview:

Leveraging human capital strategies developed for ensuring Core Teams (cross functional) teams are high performing; the incumbent will partner with Core Team Leaders (CTLs) to provide leadership and resources to ensure success. Core Teams leverage a matrix team of 9-12 leaders reporting into cross functional leaders located in multiple sites around the world.  Competing priorities, varied opinions on program strategy and varying levels of understanding for the challenges of the Core Team Member role, underscores the importance of the role the incumbent plays to set the stage for aligned team performance  

 

A Day in the Life:

  • Partner with CTLs and R&I Project leaders to design, develop agendas, lead subject matter expert topic areas and facilitate offsite cross functional team meetings.   These off-sites can be team kicks off and/or the intermittent team check in meetings.  Bring resources and our developed strategies to bear to ensure high impact resulting in aligned team performance. 
  • Partner with CTLs and R&I Project Leaders to implement ongoing team performance tools, practices and processes to underscore the need to develop strong aligned relationships where CTMs are working productively and efficiently toward program goals.
  • Partner with the vertical leads of the R&D CTM pipeline to ensure intentional development of CTMs.  Develop the process and best practice tools to ensure success of people when they move into these challenging roles.
  • Taking the best practices of the development of the CTM pipeline into other functions.  While maintaining clear functional accountability provide consultation and back office support in the development of those strategies, process and tools. 
  • Provide leadership of the CSH Program Leadership Series Application approach.  Partner with the managers of the participants to ensure the 500K investment is directly impacting leadership performance of the participants.     
  • Project manage the nominations, communication materials, logistics, and evaluation of the CSH Program Leadership Series.
  • Continually assess best practices on tools, assessments, process and capabilities necessary to ensure we are developing high impact high performance teams.     

 

Must Have:

Bachelors degree with 7+ years of experience or 5+ years with advanced degree

 

Essential Functions

Must be able to travel up to 30-40% - at times globally

 

Nice to Have:

Subject matter expert on high performing team practices

Experience in &/or certifications in leading cross function teams &/or facilitation

Past experiences in developing high performing team tools and processes

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent Assessment & Design skills

Proven Project Management Skills

Excellent influencing skills across all levels
