A full-time Primary Care Physician position is now available with Liberty Healthcare on the medical staff of the G. Werber Bryan Psychiatric Hospital in Columbia, SC.
This position involves the provision of basic primary care to adult inpatient clients of the hospital's Forensic Division. This includes conducting histories and physicals of newly admitted patients, treating and managing acute and chronic illnesses, and collaborating with hospital nursing staff, specialists and attending Psychiatrists. This position is limited to Primary Care medicine only - and not responsible for providing any Psychiatric care.

The Forensic Division of the G. Werber Psychiatric Hospital is a secure 185-bed inpatient psychiatric facility which serves adults who are struggling with mental illness and have historically had involvement with the criminal justice system.
The hospital is funded and operated by the South Carolina Department of Mental Health and selected members of the medical staff work through a collaborative long-term agreement with Liberty Healthcare.
