ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Workers Compensation Loss Portfolio Transfers -- Pricing Analysis and Technical Support

Analyze account data, estimate discounted required reserves, and calculate recommended premium

Provide LPT Underwriter a written summary of analysis, assumptions, conclusions and concerns

Prepare Risk Transfer documentation for LPTs written

Assist with retrospective and profitability analyses

Pricing Model & Filing Support

Assist with collection and analysis of bureau rating factors for use in multiple workers compensation models and the LPT pricing model

Prepare actuarial state filing documents for LPTs and Workers Compensation products

Assist with model design, testing, and implementation

Perform analyses and prepare periodic reports to monitor pricing and to assess performance of business segments

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create and maintain documentation and procedures necessary to comply with corporate policies regarding

data security, backup requirements, and proper controls.

Complete special projects, as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

Preferred

Bachelors or better.

Experience

Preferred

College graduate

8+ years' experience in Workers Compensation or Commercial Casualty Reinsurance pricing or reserving

Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society, ACAS may be considered

Proficiency in Excel, Word, Power Point, other Microsoft software

Experience writing database queries with SQL desired but not required

Experience with R or Python desired but not required
