Basware is seeking a Presales / Solution Consultant with a depth of expertise in procurement and/or supply chain for our sales team, based in the US, to support the direct and indirect sales channel to achieve their targets. You will be responsible for different presales activities in the North American market. In addition to working closely with sales and other teams, you will also be part of the highly motivated global specialist team supporting all Basware countries. 

Responsibilities include support for Basware's solution design and proof phases of the sales cycle.


Key tasks are: 

  • Acting as subject matter expert in procurement and supply chain during the sales process
  • Building competitive proposals
  • Supporting RFP responses
  • Performing powerful product & solution demonstrations and presentations 
  • Acting as a business advisor for our customers and their P2P processes during the sales cycle
  • Proactive knowledge transfer, communication and training 
  • Supporting partner management in ramping up of new partners
  • Provide expertise and subject matter support for marketing events
  • Acting as a local arm of global product management to ensure product roadmap competitiveness
  • Cross-border global sales support


To be successful in this position we would like you to have:

  • Three or more years of experience in one of the following fields: presales, business consulting, product management or sales specialist
  • Experience with e-invoicing / accounts payables / procurement and P2P processes 
  • Enjoy working in sales and with customers, leading and advising them in their business processes and solution design
  • Possess excellent presentation skills with an outgoing personality
  • Approach your role with multidisciplinary skills such as customer focus, value selling, solution & process orientation
  • Be willing to travel
