Job Summary:

The PR Manager will come from an agency background with a focus within technology and will be responsible for the development, implementation and management of strategic PR communications and programs for our client's exciting and leading portfolios within a diverse industry. The PR Manager will oversee two direct reports and be a true leader who will be motivated to support the career development of the junior members while maximizing their individual strengths to build a truly collaborative and efficient team.



  • Develop PR strategies to improve brand awareness and maintain a positive organizational image to external and internal parties
  • Manage communication with show teams to ensure deadlines, deliverables, event objectives and service agreements are met consistently
  • Participate in regular brand weekly meetings and calls, providing consultative advice on tactical communications activity
  • Manage media and PR areas of show websites: including press registration setup and qualifying members of the media
  • Providing insight and analysis on activity and results to senior leadership teams
  • Proactively provide social media insight, solutions and processes to continuously evolve and optimize brand and PR campaigns
  • Understand and follow the news agenda, positioning internal stakeholders, brands and customers within the wider news narrative
  • Manage all media relations activity on behalf of shows, maintaining and leveraging key media contacts for campaigns and projects with journalists, bloggers, influencers and analysts across national, trade and vertical media channels
  • Responsible for driving media registration and attendance at events
  • Responsible for staffing media booth presence at events, checking in media representatives, scheduling on-site interviews and management of media attendees' needs on site


Required Skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years agency side experience in PR with 1-2 years management
  • Possesses PR prowess to contribute and shape messaging and storylines; is adept at developing and executing communications strategies
  • Significant experience providing communications guidance and expertise to executives
  • High-energy individual who thrives in a fast paced, tight deadline environment
  • Ability to travel 25-30% as needed
