PowerBI Data Integration Developer at Booz Allen Hamilton in Albuquerque, NM

We need an experienced Front-End Developer who will use their passion to guide a development team to learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements, and mentor teammates. This is an opportunity to solve problems at the Department of Veteran's Affairs by collaborating with a development team to build PowerBI dashboards with user-centric design. You’ll coordinate UI/UX designers and back-end developers to create a seamless user experience using PowerBI. Your team will ensure accessibility for all users by developing a front-end that functions across browsers, platforms, and devices while meeting accessibility and security requirements. With mentoring, positive code reviews, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers. You Have:

-Experience with Microsoft PowerBI developer, data visualization, data analytics, and dashboards

-Experience in an object-oriented language, including Java, C++, or C#

-Experience with data storage and analysis in SQL

-Knowledge of cybersecurity and risk management

-Ability to work independently to achieve successful results with minimal guidance

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-HS diploma or GED and 18 years of experience with data analysis or BA or BS degree in CS, EE, Engineering, or Technology and 10 years of experience with data analysis

Nice If You Have:

-Experience in a software developer or data science role

-Experience with scripting, including JavaScript or Python

-Experience with web application development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, or .NET-based tools

-Experience in the VA

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Public Trust clearance
