Post-doctoralfellowship available to study immune cell trafficking andhomeostasis.Our laboratory has been studying immune cell migration and signaltransduction in the immune system using a variety of methods includingimaging, biophysics, and biochemistry. Projects in the lab involve designingand implementing biosensors that would allow us to monitor immune cellmigration, turn-over, and signaling in real-time in animals. We are interestedin how the presence of immune cell populations in certain tissues at giventimes determines the outcome of immune reactions in the response toinfection and in autoimmunity and cancer.
Who You Are
Candidate should have a PhD or MD/PhD in Immunology, technicalexperience with methodologies in immunology, cell biology, molecularbiology, and, ability to think innovatively and rigorously, and a strongpublication record as evidenced by at least one first-author paper published oraccepted in a top tier journal. Qualified candidates must also demonstrateoutstanding communication skills, have a strong passion and commitment toscience and work well within a group. Experience with animal work isdesirable but not essential.
