Fred Hutch's pioneering work in bone marrow transplantation led to the development of immunotherapy, which harnesses the power of the immune system to treat cancer. Careers Start Here.Our research is generously supported by a DOD Era of Hope Scholar Award, the V Foundation, the Susan G. Komen Foundation, and the Burroughs Wellcome Fund. We are seeking highly motivated postdoc candidates interested in one of the following two research areas:

  1. Single cell seq and organoid biology - We are investigating the cellular composition of circulating tumor cell clusters and the different tumor and stromal interactions occurring within clusters. We are using single cell profiling, organoids, and murine models to screen these interactions and their roles during metastasis.
  2. Genome-scale library screening – We are dissecting the genetic programs controlling metastasis of tumor cell clusters and how these programs differ from single cell metastasis. Current projects involve CRISPR and drug library screens to identify genes and pathways that are essential for cluster-based metastasis.


We are looking for candidates who are great communicators that value teamwork and can thrive in a fast paced environment. The ideal candidate will lead one of several core projects in our laboratory.



  • A recent PhD or MD degree
  • At least two first author publications are required
  • Experience with organoids, library screening, and murine models is required
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a laboratory team
