Professor Brownell Research Group at the Gordon Center for Medical Imaging is seeking an individual for a full-time postdoctoral research associate position.
Research includes conducting and further developing PET, SPECT, and CT imaging studies using preclinical microPET and multimodality scanners, kinetic data analyses and developing physiological models with translational aspect for human studies.
In addition responsibilities include calibration of the scanners and partial maintenance as well as training new scanner users.
The candidate should have PhD in the field of bioscience/biophysics with hands-on experience for preclinical PET/SPECT/CT instruments and knowledge of medical physics and electrical engineering. The knowledge on neuroscience will be a plus.
The individual should be interested to work with technical and experimental aspects of multimodality neuroimaging from mouse to man and has publications to document skills, experience and productivity.
