Positioning, Navigation, and Timing Engineering and Science Professional

Key Role:

Support our client missions and help envision a new and improved PNT capability for our nation and display expertise in uncommon Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT). Comprehend the big picture with the problems faced by the plethora of PNT and Global Positioning System (GPS) users today and pay attention to the technology itself and where it can be improved and strengthened to continuously meet the demanding needs of the future. Solve problems, strategize for new ideas, or build solutions at Booz Allen. Join our team of engineering and science professionals. This position can be performed in locations across the firm.

Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience with PNT and GPS or electronic communication systems

-Knowledge of developing and applying design methods, theories, and research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex and advanced technical problems

-Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with planning, conducting, and directing projects to rapidly produce viable prototypes and proof–of–concepts

-Experience with establishing and reviewing new acquisition directives, including analysis of project plans, schedules, cost estimates, policy compliances, risks, and performance metrics

-Experience with conducting integration and tests of considerable complexity

-Experience with review of literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects to generate comprehensive, publishable technical reports

-Experience with challenges in the Cyber domain that need solutions and developing such solutions

-Experience with evaluating vendor capabilities and performances to provide required products or services

-Experience with large, iterative software development programs
-Experience with leading ACAT I Programs
-Experience with military C4ISR systems
-Experience with navigation technologies using multiple PNT inputs
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Possession of excellent interpersonal skills
-MA or MS degree
-DAWIA Level II Program Manager or Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) Program Management Level II Certification or higher
-Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

-Agile Certified Practitioner Certification
