Here at Jacobs, we apply our expertise and knowledge as we look into the future with great optimism and focus. We don’t settle until we give our best and know that we’re making a difference. If you want to join a company invested in you, your success and the local Alaska community - join us as Port of Alaska Program Design Manager to help the Port of Alaska (Anchorage) continue to thrive and support other projects in the Pacific Northwest Region.

You’ll be considered a key member of our program and will be tasked with leading the design of the Port Infrastructures and Container Terminals and additional Program projects. This role requires close interaction with our permitting team, design teams, external partners and the client to ensure permittable and efficient construction and operation. You’ll be leading a multidiscipline design team to complete tasks within established schedules, budgets and help advance our business development strategies.

Here's What You'll Need:

· Demonstrated experience working and delivering successful ports & maritime projects in coordination with, and for, public agencies

· Ability to demonstrate project leadership experience

· Working knowledge of federal and state design guidelines

· A willingness to relocate to Anchorage, Alaska. Alternatively, to consider a work location in Washington State or the Pacific Northwest to support Alaska.

Ideally, here’s what you’ll also have:

· Experience with public and/or private multi cargo ports and container terminals

· Experience managing multi-discipline marine projects

· Experience with marine structure inspections and appraisals
