Portfolio Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Portfolio Manager to oversee and manage investment portfolios on behalf of clients and the organization. The Portfolio Manager will be responsible for developing investment strategies, conducting in-depth market and financial analysis, managing portfolio risk, monitoring investment performance, and ensuring portfolios remain aligned with client objectives and market conditions.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, excellent financial acumen, and a proven track record of making sound investment decisions. This role requires the ability to evaluate market opportunities, assess economic trends, and provide strategic recommendations designed to maximize returns while managing risk appropriately.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee diversified investment portfolios across equities, fixed income securities, mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, and alternative investments. Develop and implement investment strategies based on client objectives, market conditions, risk tolerance, and investment guidelines. Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, market research, economic forecasting, and security evaluations to support investment decisions.

Monitor portfolio performance and rebalance portfolios when necessary to maintain target allocations and investment objectives. Evaluate market trends, economic indicators, industry developments, and geopolitical events that may impact portfolio performance. Perform ongoing risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate market, credit, liquidity, and concentration risks.

Prepare detailed portfolio reviews, investment reports, performance analyses, and recommendations for clients, stakeholders, and senior management. Ensure all investment activities comply with regulatory requirements, company policies, and fiduciary standards. Collaborate with analysts, advisors, traders, and other investment professionals to identify opportunities and optimize portfolio outcomes.

Maintain strong relationships with clients by providing timely updates, market insights, and strategic investment guidance. Participate in client meetings and presentations while addressing investment-related inquiries and concerns. Stay informed on evolving financial markets, investment products, regulations, and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field. Minimum of five years of professional experience in portfolio management, investment management, wealth management, asset management, or a closely related financial discipline. Strong knowledge of portfolio construction, asset allocation, financial markets, risk management principles, and investment analysis.

Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial information and make data-driven investment decisions. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and investment research tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex investment concepts to diverse audiences. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration. Professional certifications such as CFA, CFP, CAIA, or FRM. Experience managing institutional, corporate, pension, endowment, family office, or high-net-worth investment portfolios. Familiarity with Bloomberg, FactSet, Morningstar Direct, and other investment management platforms.

Compensation

Annual Salary: $125,000 - $180,000 per year

Hourly Rate: $60 - $87 per hour

Compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, certifications, geographic location, portfolio management experience, and overall suitability for the role. Eligible employees may also qualify for annual performance-based bonuses and additional incentive compensation.
