Job Description

As a Senior Data Architect in Population Health, you’ll develop complex strategies and data organization architectures that address industry requirements through collaboration with IT teams and leadership. Through learned understanding of industry standard and existing Cerner HealtheIntent data models, you will develop data models and analytics that meet existing and future clients’ needs. In addition, you’ll produce and ensure adoption of standards for design, documentation, construction and deployment of data within existing structures; monitor, report and make recommendations to improve analytical performance; and understand and document both existing and new data models and analytics.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • At least 5 years of operational, clinical, financial or health care metric work experience
  • At least 5 years of SQL work experience
  • At least 2 years of analytical and/or visualization tools


Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of database management work experience
  • At least 2 years of client facing work experience


Expectations:

  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
  • Must live in or be willing to relocate to Kansas City
