Policy Specialist - Insurance

Job Description

  • ProAssurance is looking for an Associate Policy Specialist to work out of our Okemos, Michigan office. In this position you will make a difference, learn the process that supports our Underwriting department, and work with Underwriters and external agents.
  • Duties include managing policy files
  • Creating and updating records
  • Reviewing and approving policies and invoices in the system
  • Responding to requests from policyholders, agents and Underwriters
  • Assisting in the preparation of renewals and new business
  • Generating reports

Job Requirements

  • Minimum eight years experience, or a combination of education and experience equivalent
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication skills - both verbal and in writing
  • Proficiency in MS Office
