They are hiring a Project Manager to coordinate the moving parts of commercial land development projects, including contracts, cost estimates, vendor coordination, and more. The person in this role plays an instrumental role in each project’s approach and features.

- Manage civil engineering projects from bid to close-out, with key responsibility for proposals, contracts, estimate preparation, scheduling, and project documentation.
- Work with engineers to accurately estimate and set project timelines, budgets, scope, and deliverables for various and land development projects. Identify needs for building materials and capital equipment resources.
- Meet regularly with clients to update them on project schedule and changes. Develop strong relationships with new and existing clients to promote future business opportunities.
- Supervise a team of 5 to 10 engineers; delegate work, train in key skills, deliver performance reviews, and develop their civil engineering skills.
- Manage design documents, including quality assurance and quality control documentation.
- Supervise engineering plans and designs. Accompany team to site walks to monitor progress.
- Coordinate vendor and contractor teams.
- 8+ years of civil engineering PM experience, preferably with a background in land development, surveying, or planning.
- Proficiency in civil engineering and project management software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Project).
- Experience in team leadership, training, coaching, and managing.
- Active license for engineering or surveying in the state of California.
- Strong experience in surveying, mapping, and interpreting CAD designs.
- Knowledge of California building codes and permitting requirements.
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, such as surveying.
