Have you successfully met and exceeded your assigned sales quota as either a direct (OEM) sales executive or as a Value-Added Reseller (VAR) partner? This position reports to the Vice President of Sales & Business Development. Working as a key member of the sales team, the position focuses on both, an assigned group of named accounts with the core objective of expanding and growing Siemens PLM (SPLM) software revenue, as well as new DAA-SPLM customers, where you will be generating incremental revenue in new accounts. This is a demanding, customer-facing field sales role, requiring extensive sales planning, strategic account management, executive relationship building, and cross-functional management, as well as tracking and reporting of required metrics, objectives, status reports, plus on-going monthly and annual risks and opportunities forecasting.

Other Responsibilities

  • Partner "closely" with your DAA Application Engineer and your SPLM Channel Sales Manager to optimize your effectiveness and DAA's overall success.
  • Orchestrate near and long-term business development plans for both named and new accounts that exceed expectations in revenue growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify key decision makers & influencers, building and developing meaningful business relationships for future revenue growth of the SPLM software suite and DAA in general.
  • Gain a complete understanding of the customer's operational structure, engineering organization, purchasing processes, and investment rationale.
  • Coordinate and manage all client Discovery, Needs, & Analysis activities both on and off-site.
  • Facilitate and coordinate sales quotes, statements of work (SOW's), NDA's, T&C's, ensuring a world-class customer experience.
  • Participate in project development reviews and tracking amendments through projects as required.
  • Lead customer conflict resolution with DAA, SPLM, and customer management teams.

Required Skills

  • Ability to Close Software Sales- understand timing, persistence, buying signals,*and when to stop!*
  • Successful track-record interfacing with technical staff and customers developing complex solution quotes, and delivery and implementation schedules with great attention to detail and accuracy.
  • PLM Software product knowledge across the Teamcenter, NX, and Simcenter suite of solutions.
  • Seasoned veteran level platform and general presentation skill and etiquette.
  • Demonstrated understanding of high-level customer business processes and engineering workflow.
  • Strong service skills with the ability to foster customer relationships and a passion for execution.

Education and Experience requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Business, Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or related degree
  • Master's in Business Administration (MBA) highly preferred
  • 10+ years' proven success in the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) space
  • High-degree of knowledge or experience in consulting, business, or professional services
  • Significant experience in at least one of the following industries required (Aerospace & Defense, Marine, Consumer Products, Machinery & Equipment, Automotive & Transportation, Medical Devices, and Energy)
