Your Impact to the Mission:

Do you have a passion for leading the testing efforts of new applications being designed and developed using the ServiceNow platform? In this Platform Automation Tester, you will have an opportunity to help your customer overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches alongside deep ServiceNow offerings. The Platform Automation Tester responsibilities include:

Performing automated testing activities for one of the two systems.
Performing analysis of documented user requirements and directing or assisting in the design of test plans for moderately complex to highly complex IT systems
Ensuring test design and documentation support agency or industry standards and conclusions and recommendations are fully supported by test results and communicated with management.
Working closely with developers, professional services teams, and product owners to define the automated testing components.
Assisting with Scrum Team estimation of stories and sizing of effort to include the representation of test automation.

Experience Needed to Be Successful:

Experience with test automation and scripting.
Experience with functional testing and regression test execution.
Strong working knowledge of and experience with testing within the Agile Framework.
Understanding of/experience with open source tools and CI/CD best practices.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong client and team engagement skills

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

Experience consulting for the Air Force, other armed services, or the federal government.
Familiarity with the ServiceNow platform

Basic Qualifiers:

Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Design or related field of study
