Job Summary: Provides surgical services and medical management care specific to the aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery population according to established standards of practice, including any specific protocols adopted by UPMC Pinnacle to guide surgical and medical care. Obligated to abide by the rules and regulations of the State Board of Medical or Osteopathic licensure and the bylaws of the UPMC Pinnacle Hospital Medical Staff. Provides specialty health care to inpatients and outpatients associated with the surgery program, performing plastic surgery primarily and as consult services at UPMC Pinnacle inpatient sites and outpatient centers.
Job Requirements: Current licensure under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and a member of the UPMC Pinnacle Health Medical Staff. Board certification or board eligibility in Plastic Surgery. Board eligible physician must become board certified within three years from date of hire. Board certification must be maintained. DEA certification. One or more years of plastic surgery experience or fellowship is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification may be required
