Plant Project Engineer - Chem Plant Capital Equipment

Identify process and equipment improvement opportunities; develop project concepts, scope and budgets; present potential projects to management; manage projects from concept through completion including: all design work; sourcing and selection of components and contractors; fabrication, prototyping, piloting, testing and debugging; transferring technology and scaling up to production level; documenting, commissioning; training and sign-off to manufacturing management.
Equipment and systems involved in multiphase chemicalprocesses and reactions involving: distillation, fluidization, uniform particle mixing, fluidized bed and exothermic reactions, bed gas generation, cracking, metallurgical and chemical purification, vapor deposition, crystallization, etc.
Process equipment consisting of: reactors, feeds, steam generators, valves, pumps, compressors, vaporizers, evaporators, heat exchangers, electron generators, actuators, driers, crushers, mixers, blenders, mills, etc.
Chemical plant instrumentation including: temperature detectors; thermocouples; pressure to current converters; electromagnetic, vortex, rotary piston, positive displacement, differential pressure, and ultrasonic flow meters; level sensors, chromatographs, spectrophotometers, spectroscopes, mass spectrometers, pyrometers, thermistors, calorimeters, heat flux sensors, aerometers, dasymeters, gas detectors, hydrometers, pycnometers, plastometers, rheometers, viscometers, grindometers, gouy balances, etc.
Electronic, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic controls including: logical control modules; control panels; motor drives and servos; actuators; variable speed controls; signal converters; transmitters and receivers; thermostats; flow controls valves; transducers; etc.
