As the core of the Superlift Suspension’s operations team, this position will oversee all daily responsibilities of the plant, from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedures are followed. This position will develop processes that maximize stewardship, safety, quality, and productivity.
Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Direct and coordinate activities of a variety of areas within the facility, including facilities and maintenance, extrusion, production, CNC, pack out, and kitting.
Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations.
Increase production, assets capacity, and flexibility while minimizing costs and maintaining quality standards.
Responsible for production output, quality and availability of inventory.
Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results.
Implement strategies that align with strategic initiatives and provide clear direction and focus.
Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, manage and develop plant staff.
Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity. Clearly defined standard metrics and performance targets.
Address employee’s issues and ensure resolution.
Stay up to date with the latest production management best practices and concepts.
Ensures proper utilization of man-hours within area.
Commit to plant safety procedures.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
10+ years of related experience and/or training is required, or a combination of education and experience.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of database software, internet software, inventory software, manufacturing software, order-processing systems, payroll systems, project management software, spreadsheet software and word processing software.
Ability to read, analyze, and interprets common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors. Write, speak and comprehend English.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
