Judge Group is partnering with a local Chicago Non Profit that is focused on helping the Chicago area in areas of preventing future violence. The goal of this partnership is to help bring job opportunities, skills training, and employment opportunities to high risk individuals and transitional employees within the Chicago area. We are working on a plant startup of a NEW Food Packaging Plant that will help cultivate a positive outcome to many lives long term. POSITION: Plant Human Resources Director

LOCATION: Brighton Park / Southwest Chicago Area

SALARY: $115K-125K

DEGREE: Required

EXPERIENCE: 7-10 Years of HR Leadership Background with New Plant Startup Experience


Generic Description:

This person develop and maintain successful working relationships with management team in order to influence and provide effective HRprocesses, advice and support.

Provide proactive coaching, consultation and direction to management in areas of employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and overall organizational effectiveness.

Organize and participate in selection and hiring process. Interview and screen applicants, provide interview training, recruit prospective employees, and coordinate searches with recruiters.

Prepare position descriptions, track employment requisitions and Affirmative Action Forms, and direct all aspects of pre-employment screening and conduct new hire orientation. Responsible for tracking applicant flow for local hiring.

Increase understanding and consistent application of company policies, procedures, and practices through training, coaching, one-on-one communication and policy interpretation. Observe and promote adherence to policies, regulations and Global Business Standards.

Primary contact for employees and managers to answer inquiries and provide general employee information including: compensation, benefits and attendance.

Responsible for the coordination of all employee data changes and HRIS reporting.

Represent management in investigating, answering and settling employee complaints of moderate complexity.
