Plant Financial Manager
Summary of Responsibilities:
The Plant Financial Manager plans, organizes, directs, and controls the accounting and control function for an assigned location, reports operational results, and leads the budgeting process and financial analysisreporting for the location.
Annual budget process owner for assigned location
Monthly financial analysis for respective plant.
Assistance with monthly financialreporting.
Ownership of overall standard costing system, pricing processes and bill of material maintenance processes, including process improvement and automation opportunities.
Provide regular analytical information and schedules to plant managers and other functional departments.
Prepare cost/projection analysis of new business opportunities and existing business relationships, including pricing new business and maintaining prices on existing business.
Managing month end closing processes for responsible plant.
Monitoring of various balance sheet accounts.
Investigate significant and unusual issues within the financial statements.
Special projects aimed at supporting various Operational Excellence initiatives, controlling expenses, increasing profits, improving cash flow and improving efficiencies our plants.
Additional duties as assigned
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business or Finance with 5-7years' experience
Attention to detail and experience in budget preparation and variance analysis
Advanced MS Office Skills; Advanced Excel
Experience with ERP systems, Syteline ERP strongly preferred
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
